Donald Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court nomination, Brett Kavanaugh, has been accused of attempted rape by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. The incident allegedly took place at a party when Kavanaugh was 17-years-old.

The claims are credible and must be investigated

Ford's claims are credible. There must be an investigation before the nomination process can proceed.

Even if he did do it, it’s not a big deal

Whether he did it or not is not really important. It should not affect his nomination.

Kavanaugh should be considered innocent until proven guilty

Our judicial standard is that people are assumed innocent until proven guilty. This should extend to unsubstantiated claims even in a social sphere.

It is all an elaborate plot from the Democrats to stop the nomination

The Democrats don't want Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court. They are using Ford to sink Kavanaugh's nomination.
